Step 1: Choose one routine

Pick a routine you repeat often. Departure and arrival are the best first choices because small misses can make travel days harder.

Step 2: Add the must-not-forget items

Start with five to ten items. For departure, that might include water pump off, antenna down, slides in, cabinets latched, propane checked, and hitch verified.

Step 3: Run the checklist once

Use it the next time you do the routine. If an item is unclear, rewrite it while the task is fresh.

Step 4: Reset it for next time

After the routine is done, reset the checklist so it is ready for the next travel day.
