Import Trips from Another App

If you already built an itinerary elsewhere, start there. RoadRover is meant to help you move forward, not make you retype every stop.

Step 1: Export the trip from your current planner

Use the export option in the app where the trip lives today. Save the file somewhere you can find it from the browser or device where you use RoadRover.

Step 2: Open RoadRover's import flow

Go to Trips and choose the import option. Select the exported file and let RoadRover read the itinerary.

Step 3: Review the imported stops

Check the stop names, dates, nights, and order. Imported trips often need a quick pass because every planner names and formats places a little differently.

Step 4: Fill in RoadRover details

Add reservation numbers, campsite details, hookup notes, costs, and anything you want handy on travel day.

Step 5: Save and share

Once the imported trip looks right, save it. From there you can plan drive days, export a PDF, or share a read-only itinerary link.

Why importing matters

This is the easiest path for RV LIFE Pro or RVParky users who want to try RoadRover without rebuilding a whole season of travel.
